MISSION STATEMENT

The mission and goal of the Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses is to promote the highest standard of practice in Medical Esthetic Nursing and to enhance professional growth through education and certification, scientific inquiry and research, and facilitate the dissemination of current information, technical skills, and expertise. AMEN recognizes the importance of alliance with all specialties that practice esthetic medicine, and it is through this alliance and sharing that facilitates positive growth and mutual respect in the medical esthetic arena.

ABOUT AMEN

The A.M.E.N. organization is a non-profit professional organization which will serve its members through a national structure of five (5) regions each represented by a Regional Director and a network of local state chapters headed by state chairmen. A national A.M.E.N. annual meeting will be held in which elected state and regional officials will report findings, form task forces to address priority issues, and hold state and regional elections. Other annual meeting agenda items will include educational opportunities for members and associate members, updates on current esthetic nursing practice, certification programs, and networking opportunities.
