An Arizona native, Sue spent almost 20 years working in the Emergency Department at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix.  She left there after receiving her Masters in Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing degree in 1997. As a NP, she has worked in Family Practice, Urgent Care, a mobile school clinic, as a legal nurse consultant, and aesthetics.  (Sue:  “I was in my 40’s and discovered I needed ‘a little work’, so I sent myself off to California to attend ESI classes by Sasha Parker”).  She was the Clinical Director for a group of 4 medspas in the Phoenix area that sadly succumbed to the faltering economy. She is excited to now be working where she will be able to perform medical esthetic treatments again. In addition to working part time providing primary care in the North Phoenix area, Sue works part time for Take Care Health Centers inside Walgreens.

As a member of Arizona Nurses Association Political Action Committee Sue worked with other volunteer members to encourage nurses to become involved in and participate in the legislative process and become aware of issues that affect nursing; and also educate candidates about nursing, nurse practitioners and these same important nursing issues. She was intimately involved in Arizona SB1419 which was signed into law by the Governor this session, dealing with laser technician training and other aesthetic issues.

Sue lives in Glendale, Arizona, with her husband of over 20 years and has 2 daughters in college.
